    Interns have the opportunity to overcome employment barriers and jump-start their careers, while employers ensure their workforce progression now, and for years to come.

  • Work Integrated Learning Module

    All our interns go through a world-class training program for a month, where we prepare them with technical skills as well as soft skills to excel in both corporate and entrepreneurial environment. AIA stands to bridge the gap between academia and industry by training the interns and giving them the chance to gain work experience within the same facility.

  • Social Business Design Lab

    In order to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, the lab was created to birth ideas and build upon them for implementation. Interns are given the chance to utilize the lab for development of their business concepts and enhancement of their ideas.

  • Africa Internship Mentorship Program

    Simple things that may seem easy or straightforward to you now may be a complete mystery to a young person.
    As a Mentor, you have a platform to impart the knowledge and experience you have acquired to the next generation to help shape and transform Africa.

the Internship Process

1. Application process / How to apply

To apply for internship (WILP) at Africa Internship Academy, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Read the application requirements and determine if you are eligible first.
  2. Fill and submit our online application form
  3. Study the program details to enable you meet the deadline for the internship program.
  4. Kindly note that applying for internship (WILP) does not automatically qualify you to be admitted at the Academy.

2. Start your Work Integrated Learning Program

All qualified applicants are enrolled in our 4 week Work Integrated Learning Program at the Accra Internship House.

3. Become part of the AIA Fellowship Program

After a successful internship, Interns attain the status of "Fellows" and become part of the active community of generational thinkers. They are assigned a mentor to support them as they build their career.
